Our Story & Philosophy
A sacred institution born from the vision of making authentic yogic wisdom accessible to all sincere seekers.
Kaivalya Pragya — The Path to Liberation
The name Kaivalya Pragya carries profound meaning. Kaivalya — liberation, aloneness in the divine sense, the ultimate goal of yoga. Pragya — wisdom, higher intelligence, discriminative understanding. Together, they speak of the wisdom that leads to liberation.
Founded by a dedicated team of scholars, practitioners, and therapists in Pune, Kaivalya Pragya emerged from a shared conviction: that the ancient sciences of India — Yoga, Vedanta, Meditation, and Sanskrit — hold answers to the deepest questions of human existence, and these answers must be made available to all, not locked behind tradition or wealth.
We are a spiritual-academic-wellness institution — combining the rigor of scholarship, the depth of genuine practice, the compassion of therapeutic wisdom, and the accessibility of an inclusive community.
The Pillars of Our Approach
Authentic Tradition
We draw exclusively from verified, unbroken lineages of yoga — not from commercial interpretations that distort the original teachings.
Science + Spirituality
We honor both ancient wisdom and modern science. Psychology, neuroscience, and yogic philosophy walk hand in hand in our programs.
Human-Centered Learning
Every student is unique. We adapt teachings to individual needs while maintaining the integrity of traditional knowledge.
Universal Accessibility
Through donation-based options, online classes, and scholarships, we ensure financial capacity is never a barrier to wisdom.
"Sa vidyā yā vimuktaye" — True knowledge is that which liberates.
